Lance Bass is GAY?!?

Thanks very much to everyone who showed up at Lee's Palace last Friday. The turnout was better than expected. Apparently some people didn't get in? I'm not really sure why, but I'm guessing it had something to do with the pirate costume party taking place on the second floor. Sorry.
For everyone that made it in, thanks for drinking your faces off and pretending to be amused by our rusty slander. The soundguy was less than impressed with us ("What do you mean you don't know what instruments the third guy in the band will be playing?") so we were hesitant to explain to him that we couldn't hear anything on stage. Hopefully you could at least all hear Dave's literal Bible interpretations. It kind of sucked playing last because we didn't really get to hang out with everyone as much, and honestly, it's hard to follow a falsetto rendition of Love Hurts. To be frank, the highlight of my weekend was watching A-Rod strike out 4 times on Saturday while heckling him furiously, despite sitting behind a 10 year old boy in an A-Rod jersey.

We're playing anothershow August 11 @ O'Grady's . Unlike this past show, it will probably be a lot less "Queen's Alumni Mixer", and much more"Show were we open for bands who are not amused with our antics, so instead of getting our act together, we play new, experimental junk". Or maybe we'll just play Barnone 8 times. Either way.

Anyway, thanks again to everyone who came out on Friday. In the coming weeks we'll hopefully have a BIG(ish) announcement regarding another show in a city we used to live in.

Oh, and yes, that is our song playing as background music in the new West 49 commercial. The song is the original (aka GOOD) version of Barnone from our first CD and it's playing on both MuchMusic and MTV Canada. I think there's a chicken in it or something. It just goes to show: We haven't written a good song since high school.
